The customer was looking for a partner who could quickly deliver a customised HMI solution for coffee vending machines. The desired Human Machine Interface should offer the following requirements:
- Software compatibility
- Long life display
- Cost efficiency
- Compatibility with existing vending machines
- Max. 12" display - The customer required a modular and intelligent interface for vending machines.
Our solution
We provided a smart solution to the customer's requirement for a smart and modular touch screen for their coffee machines and vending machines. Instead of supplying separate components, SECO brought the idea of an integrated modular HMI system that can be installed in a wide range of equipment with minimal or even no customization.
Our results
In addition to the original request (only table-top units), the customer decided to use this solution for their snack machines as well. Based on this experience, SECO has also added a multifunctional 10.1" touchscreen system to its product portfolio (SYS-A62-10).
